Description
Katy apple was raised in 1947 at Balsgard Fruit Breeding Institute, Sweden. If there are leftovers, and there will be from this prolific cropper, they make a delicious juice. Katy apples will also make very good cider and juice that is sometimes pinkish in colour. This variety has good disease resistance. It is a very easy tree to manage with large attractive flowers.
