Lady Henniker apple variety was raised from a pip found in a cider pomace. This tree produces large handsome apples that cook to a pale yellow, intensely flavoured puree that needs very little sugar. Makes an excellent quality eater also. We are very fond of this variety here in the nursery.
Lady Henniker is a late keeping dual purpose apple with good resistance to diseases. Mellows later in the season to make a very good eater also.
