Description
Rubinola apple is a modern variety bred specifically for its disease resistance. It has the excellent variety ‘Prima’ in its parentage and has some resistance to both to scab and powdery mildew. The fruit is medium sized and almost perfectly round in shape. The skin is quite thin and a very attractive red colour over a yellow background. The yellow flesh is firm and crisp with lots of juice. Sweet also with a fine aromatic flavour. Rubinola apple is a very good choice for organic gardeners.
