Description
Baya Marisa is a multi-purpose red fleshed apple variety. The red slices are very attractive in a salad and excellent with cheese. This variety cooks well also, the slices stay pink and keep their shape. Baya Marisa can be used to make pink juice and cider and is also reputedly good for drying. It makes a healthy tree with fair disease resistance. Baya Marisa is a highly ornamental tree also with large, very dark glossy leaves and red/violet flowers. Even the wood is red all the way through when cut. Highly Recommended.
